I have dealt with back, hip, pelvic and leg pain off and on in degree for many years. Over the course of time, when it would get very bad, I would seek out different Dr's and treatment options, which only offered temporary, minimal relief. I have always incorporated chiropractic care as part of that treatment because if offered the most amount of relief. This past year over a period of about 7 months the pain had gotten so bad I thought I was headed for surgery to treat an L5/S1 herniated disc. I was told by another Dr. to try epidural pain injections first and then if that didn't work try the surgery. I had already had an epidural three years earlier that only offered temporary relief, and had gone for physical therapy that only lasted a few weeks because I was in too much pain to move! This time I went for three treatments a few weeks apart and it did not take care of the pain or the problem. I didn't believe surgery was an option yet and was concerned about it because of others I had talked with that had surgery and were still having problems with some pain and movement. In my despair I cried out to God. He led me to ask someone I knew who worked for a Dr., if she could find out who would be recommended to help me somewhere in this area. That cry for help was answered and I will never forget the first phone call I made to Dr. Anthony Rosania on a Friday evening in January after a long week of pain. He asked me questions about my pain, mobility and disability that no other Dr. had bothered to ask. At the first appointment I was amassed by how thorough the exam was. Unlike any other I had had for this back, hip, pelvic and leg pain. This exam along with a few minor but very important diagnostic tests and Dr. Rosania's expertise led to a specific treatment plan without surgery that has resulted in healing and full movement and being pain free! Hallelujah!Because of what I have been through with back pain, I have great empathy for others who suffer with pain and want them to know they don't have to live with it to the degree of suffering.
